A mount held by drywall anchors alone will creep. On a large panel it eventually comes off the wall, and it takes a chunk of the wall with it. We locate the studs and bolt into them — and if the framing is metal, which is common in Florida builds after 2000, we use hardware rated for it.
Above a working firebox the wall can sit far hotter than the electronics are rated for. We check before committing to the spot. If it is too hot, we say so and suggest somewhere else — losing one job is better than replacing your TV in eighteen months.
You cannot legally run a standard power cord inside a wall cavity — it is a fire risk and it fails inspection when the house sells. We use a rated in-wall power kit with a proper outlet behind the screen. On brick and concrete, where nothing can be fished through, we fit a paintable raceway instead and say so upfront.
Dust sheets down, holes patched where something came off, debris out with us. You should not be able to tell we were there except for the TV on the wall.

Called at nine, screen was on the wall by two. He found the studs off-centre from where I assumed they were and moved the mount over four inches rather than bolting into drywall. Cable went inside the wall, no trunking.
